The 5th annual Newtown Breakaways Women’s Pre-season AFLX Challenge is on again
This year the challenge has again attracted Women’s Community AFL Teams from all divisions across Sydney and the Central West (Bathurst) to play at the home of AFL Women’s AFL in the Inner West Henson Park.
6 Clubs and 10 teams will compete in two graded pools for this pre-season tournament to test their recruits and build culture in their teams. Another dynamic demonstration of the growing strength of the Sydney Women’s AFL community and again including regional participants.
Bring your partners, sisters, brothers, mates, aunts, daughters, friends and neighbours to celebrate and watch Women’s Community AFL.
Bathurst Bushrangers / Bathurst Giants / Newtown Breakaways / Pennant Hills Demons / Randwick City Saints / UTS AFC
There will be bar and catering available, but bring a picnic and make a day of it. Free Entry means a real opportunity for all the family to get to know women’s AFL & perhaps consider playing … it’s only pre-season, so still plenty of time to join a team (Breakaways preferably).

Games: Teams play AFLX modified games (full contact) on rectangular pitch in a pooled format. Each team plays minimum 3 games plus finals.
