Congratulations Nat Redford & Tash Devlin 1st & 2nd 2010 Best & Fairest

Breakaways
captain Natalie Redford won the league’s Best & Fairest for the second time. Last years winner Breakaways President Natasha Devlin came in a close second only 1 point separating the two. An unbelievable achievement for both girls who have put in big efforts on the field year on year.
This Best & Fairest award tops off a phenominal year for Breakaways Captain Nat Redford - THE STATS:-
1 of only 3 NSW players to be selected in the Aussie representative team who spent 5 days in a high performance camp in Melbourne this year

BREAKAWAYS 2010 BACK-2-BACK SWAFL CHAMPIONS
Breakaways silence the critics in a gutsy Grand Final Win over the favourites Balmain Dockers.
After a seamless undefeated season the Dockers were clear favourites to take out the 2010 Title. A big upset in the Prelim final saw the Breakaways take out the Dockers for the first time in 2010 and advance direct to the Grand Final.
Despite reports that the prelim was "the game the Dockers needed to lose" to refocus. It was the Breakaways who found the heart and confidence that 2010 was not going to be the year of the docker.
The Grand Final saw both teams give it their all. Dockers up at quarter time.
The pasion, experience and great coaching saw the Breakaways keep their intensity up for the full 80 minutes and deliver a Championship performance that Balmain had no answers for.
Brillaint defence by the Backs and guts in the middle kept the Dockers to only 3 goals for the whole game
The forwards delivered the goods when called and when the siren sounded at full time the Mighty Breakaways proved why they are the undesputed team of the Decade. Click here to see the match Report

The coach will start training with us after this weekend’s training run, but will be popping past during our session this Sunday to have a quick look and introduce himself, so make sure you’re there to meet the new coach! Also, he’s already set us our first task… to go to the Sydney Swans vs Carlton NAB CUP match on Saturday 20 Feb at Blacktown, 7.40pm, where we’ll all sit together (on the old-skool hill) and discuss footy team set-ups, and tactics employed by those 2 elite teams.
